Recognition from eBay Foundation: FigaroDesign Awarded Grant

Through the eBay Foundation, the Techquity Grant has awarded FigaroDesign the ability to expand the capacity of their business. The award covers up to 80% of technology equipment and software necessary to build the business and provide better service to its customers.

FigaroDesign was made aware of the Techquity opportunity by Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, where FigaroDesign has their offices. The winning criteria was based on a strong business plan and realistic forecasting as well as plans for future growth.

"I am pleased that all of our hard work is paying off. We supplied a viable plan and it shows and was amply rewarded. Thanks to the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center for putting us in contact with such a great opportunity." said Sarah Figueroa, President and Creative Director for FigaroDesign.

With the award, the company was able to purchase computer hardware, sofware and other peripherals needed to expand the business and raise the quality of service for its customers.
